Early Easter Celebration

We started our Easter celebrations early this year with my family the weekend before Easter. My brother Scott, sister in law Kim, and Madison and Mackenzie came to town and we had a great time! Here are some pictures of our fabulous weekend together!

Let's start off with the Easter Egg Hunt at Kye Kye and Poppy's.....

First they all had Easter baskets and gifts to open...

Then, once they'd emptied their baskets....they headed out to the backyard to fill them back up!

We told the big girls to leave the multicolored eggs for their younger siblings...and they were very good about doing so.

I guess Scott didn't get that memo and was confused as to why there were running past perfectly good eggs.....

Ryan found some goodies....

and decided to dig in...right on the spot...

Mackenzie got in on the action too!

Then they headed to the front yard for more hunting....

...and more eating.....

Then Ryan decided to do some walking....to burn off those pesky extra calories....

Mackenzie decided that her hand tasted better than any chocolate bunny ever could!

Then, the next day, we headed to the park for some fun on the swings and slides and whatnot...
