Happy Easter

We had a great Easter weekend. We invited Bradley and Sara over to dye Easter Eggs on Friday. We spent Saturday at Dave (Jenna's Godfather), Rose and Paul's house having a great time hunting eggs and hanging with friends, we had dinner Saturday night with Gran-Mary, Auntie Elaine and her friend Ty, and then we spent Easter Sunday with Uncle Jim, Aunt Kathy and their group at the ranch in the morning...and then at the Cardoza's house in the afternoon! SOOO much fun and we are SOOOO tired now! Enjoy the pictures.....

Let's start with some pictures from Saturday....

Hanging with friends in Dave & Rose's "Secret Garden"....

Jenna's Godfather, Dave, and his little guy Paul. Can anyone say "Future Ladykiller"??

Just swinging....

Daddy and his pal Joaquin with their boys....Ryan was NOT happy...Elias was snoozing away

There was a PINATA!!

Jenna and Owen sharing some candy...

Jenna and Layla....proving that true friendships endure long distances!

Then.....on Easter Sunday...

One of the MANY beautiful views at the ranch...

Jenna and Daddy in front of the tank house

A view of the back of the house as Jenna makes her way across a field. Poor little city girl didn't like the itchy grass....

Mimi and Boppa chatting with Peter

Aunt Kathy holding a sleeping Ryan...

Climbing the fence

Ryan sitting like a big boy in a big boy chair...

Gatlan hoping someone drops some food or something....

Then....later in the day at Aunt Jane & Uncle Arts house...

India teaching Jenna to twirl

Hanging by the pool....

Cousin's Pic.....(left to right: Elizabeth, India, Jim, Elaine, Marisa & David....with Jenna in front...of course)
Ready for action...

The hunt
The haul....
Ryan says "Who needs a basket when you've got an Auntie Elaine??!!"

Relaxing with Great Grandma Elena

And finally...after all is said and done....some photo proof that the Easter Bunny did, indeed, stop at our house too!!

Whew......can't imagine WHY we are so exhausted!!!

Ted and Tiffany's Wedding

My cousin Ted got married this past weekend and, thanks to my sister-in-law Kim who held Ryan for a great deal of the time, I was able to get a few cute pictures. The wedding was unlike any other I had ever been to but we had a good time and I am so happy for my cousin and his new wife. She's going to make a great addition to the family.

As you'll see from the next picture....there was a chocolate fountain....and it was pretty delicious.

This is my cousin Coleen's son Eric. He's a cutie pie and, judging by the mess on his face and shirt...I'd say he enjoyed the chocolate fountain too!

Bunny Time

We took Jenna, Maddie and Ryan to see the Easter Bunny on Sunday. I am having a hard time trying to scan the picture without the top part getting cut off...however I'm sure you get the point. It was cute. Maddie wasn't so sure about the whole process so I think it helped having Jenna there with her. Ryan...on the other hand...just wasn't impressed at all by that big bunny. We couldn't get him to wake up!

Easter Pictures

My sister-in-law Kim already posted some cute Easter pictures. I will post more later tonight (hopefully).

Ice Cream and Tutu's!

Maddie came to visit this weekend (with her Mommy and Daddy) and so Auntie Kelly took the opportunity to have a cute little photo shoot with the two girls! Below are some cute pictures I got of the girls eating ice cream in their tutu's.

More pictures later of their early Easter Egg Hunt!!

Pictures

I hadn't posted these before because I was afraid my dad might see them. We surprised him this weekend with an early birthday present (his birthday is actually on the 16th). My sister-in-law Kim had this fabulous idea to get the girls cheerleader outfits from Oklahoma University (OU) and have their pictures taken in them as a gift for their "Poppy". So, back in February, we met at a Picture People in a mall that is exactly halfway between our houses (we live approx. 3 hours from each other) and got these done. Kim had them custom framed and matted and they turned out awesome. I think it's safe to say that Poppy was T-H-R-I-L-L-E-D! We assumed that he's put them up in his office but I think Gramma Kye Kye has other plans and I'm pretty sure they will be going up in the house somewhere.

3 month and Bunny Pictures

We had Ryan's 3 month pictures taken last week along with our regular Easter pictures! I found out that it is a little more difficult to get a good picture of two kids of different ages. When you finally get one to look at the camera and smile...the other one is either crying or yawning or dozing off. Then you get that one to smile and the older one is preoccupied. Then you throw in a LIVE BUNNY and things get even more crazy! We had a great photographer though who was able to keep everyone entertained (including the bunny) and we ended up getting some cute shots. Here are my favorites!

Happy (early) Easter and Happy Spring everyone!
