San Diego Vacation

A few days after Christmas we decided to head south for the winter and enjoy some time in San Diego with our friends Joaquin and AnnMarie and their kids Amani, Sophia, Layla and Lalo.  Jim and Joaquin went to Berkeley together and they wanted to go to the bowl game (Football) together down in San Diego. The kids and moms had a FABULOUS time soaking in the sun and playing on the beach.  I didn't get a lot of pictures other than these.  I promise we did other things but this is most definitely where the kids enjoyed themselves the most.

We also got a chance to see Jim's friend Gio and his little girl Gianna (GiGi).  What a cutie...look at those eyes!!

Jenna's First Grade Christmas Party!

I had the chance to go to Jenna's Classroom Christmas Party.  The room mom and all of the volunteer parents do such a great job with these parties.  There were activities and crafts and of course yummy treats for the kids.  And, of course, I took lots of pictures!!

Jenna had a Christmas Gift for her principal, Mrs. D.  She gave her a pretty candy dish filled with her favorite mints!!!  We plan to refill it for her when necessary!

Ryan's Preschool Christmas Party

Ryan's Christmas Party was held at School the other day.  Since it was on a Friday, and he doesn't typically go to School on Fridays, he and I swung by so he wouldn't miss the festivities.

Before the party, I got to see what they do at his school on a typical day.  Here he is during "carpet time" where they talk about the day of the week, month and the temperature...etc. with Miss Cherome.

Jenna's Christmas Choir!

Jenna participated in the Christmas/Winter Choir this year at School.  She loved it and we loved her performance!!

Nana Mary, Kye Kye, Poppy and even AUTHIE ELAINE came to see her!!
