Missing Nana

My Nana passed away tonight. I was with her when it happened and it was extremely peaceful and surreal. I've never experienced that before.

I miss her terribly and can't imagine life without her around. Holidays are going to be strange this year.

I'm happy that she is no longer in pain or uncomfortable or unhappy....however I couldn't be more sad for the rest of us she left behind.

I Love You Nana!!

Kelley,
So sorry to hear about your Nana. Staci and I were also with our Nannie when she passeed away... right to the last breath. I am with you on the surreal part. (and then there was Jake!... Do you know about him?) Anyway, holidays are definitely harder! But, Nannie was on dialysis and life was just getting pretty yucky! I wish I had raided her Christmas ornament box! My Poppa gave them to a cousin that I am pretty sure has already lost most of them, and for sure doesn't cherish them! Since you seem like a family-oriented person and mentioned holidays, I wanted to remind you of that. That has always been a regret of mine. I bet Nannie welcomed Nana with open arms! Melanie

Oh, Kelly
I am so sorry for your loss. My Thoughts and Prayers are with you in your time of sorrow.
Thank you for your comment, No we didnt see any boy parts at all in the ultrasound. If the hurricane doesnt mess up my next appt, i will let you know. If not, I also am having a 4D ultrasound done in about 5 weeks. Either way, some time before the baby is here, I should know what it is!
Take care of yourself, and remember to rest.

Love,
Casey
