Baby Room Update

We are just about finished decorating the baby's room. I'm really happy with the way it turned out!

We decided to do two walls in a light green (same green we used on the bottom half of the walls in Jenna's room) and two in a light blue. The bedding is Island Patchwork by Pottery Barn Kids and incorporates a hawaiian print which is perfect for us since Jim loves his hawaiian shirts so much!! I also decided to throw in a bit of a monkey theme and so the finials on the curtain rod are monkeys and we have a surfing monkey picture. I also ordered a painted wood sign that says "No More Monkeys Jumping on the Bed" which should be arriving soon.

These pictures should give an idea of what the room looks like. We still have a few things to do (like receive/hang the sign mentioned above, buy a hamper, put his name/initials on the wall, and clean out the closet....hint hint to my husband!!) but other than that we are just about ready for this little guy, scheduled to be here (via c-section) on January 6th at 9 am!!

The crib (bedding was a gift from my parents) with a Monkey toy (given by the Margullis') and a beautiful blanket made by my Nana who passed away in September. This is so very special to me.

Only 4 1/2 weeks left until the big day arrives! I'm excited and scared (of the surgery) all at the same time....but I just can't wait to meet this little guy!!
