First trip to the dentist and other stuff to remember....
She really is getting to be such a big girl and, despite the "terrible 3's" we've been experiencing lately, she's such a caring and loving kid. She LOVES her babies! Her favorite lately is one I bought her in New York a few years ago. She has wild hair and Jenna calls her "silly baby". She absolutely must sleep with her at night and take her everywhere she goes and is contantly talking to her, kissing her, doing her hair, feeding her...etc. She just loves this baby. She also has this habit currently of labeling EVERYTHING as a mommy, daddy or a baby. For instance, if she sees two trees, the bigger one is always the mommy tree and the smaller one is always the baby tree. The same goes for everything else, cars, houses, candies, shoes, etc....etc....etc... It's a very cute little phase and Jim and I get a good chuckle out of it.
I'll upload pictures soon of our trip last week to Long Beach and San Diego as well as pictures from trick-or-treating tonight!! She's super excited!!

4D Ultrasound
Although he was in breech position with his head turned down at first, Jim, my mom and mother in law were making me laugh so hard he finally turned a little and we were able to get some great pictures.

Pretty amazing to be able to see him like this before he is born!

Pumpkin Carving!
Jenna was completely jazzed....but when it came time to start emptying the "guts" outta the pumpkins...she wasn't so sure...
She loved helping Daddy with the cutting part though....
After they were done....she set them out on the front porch and put the little (battery operated) lights inside ....
We're ready for Halloween!!
More Soccer and Madison's Birthday Party!
At least she's having fun with her friends and getting exercise right?? Plus she just looked so cute out there in her "uniform" and shin-guards. Of course, she had to have the pretty bows in her hair too! A girls alwas gotta look her best right?
Waiting her turn in line during the before-game practice session...
Look at that form!
Starting to lose interest...but she's still out there!
Just standing there....licking her hand? (I have no clue what was up with that...)
As soon as the game was over, we raced home for a quick bath and change of clothes and headed up to Madison's 3rd birthday party!! Jenna was so excited and had a ton of fun with her cousin and all of Maddie's little friends. Jenna and Madison, making crowns....
Making stuffed animals....
Sitting with Auntie Kim and Madison...
When the lady asked what kind of balloon animal Jenna wanted, she asked for a squirrel. She got a pink poodle instead...which is almost as good I guess! ;)
Some of the kids at the party...they had a good time!!
My brother Scott and me....
My parents ("Kye Kye" and "Poppy")...
Kim, Scott and Madison with her birthday cake!
Blowing out her candles....
After the party, we headed home and we were exhausted! Six hours of driving is a lot to handle in one day but it was fun!

Baby Update
We had a second ultrasound about a month ago and they are still pretty sure it is a boy! We haven't decided on a name for sure yet. We have one that we are pretty set on but it's not like us to make a firm commitment until we actually SEE him! Most of our family/friends are aware of what the top choice (at this point) is though!
We have our 4D ultrasound scheduled for Monday next week and we are really looking forward to that! We have asked the two grandma's to come along as well and I think they are both excited (although my mom is a little freaked about the idea of seeing the baby, in 3D/4D, in-utero! I'm sure she'll get over it). We thought about taking Jenna but she was so uninterested at the regular ultrasound (spent most of the time squirming and running around causing trouble) so we might just leave her at daycare until afterwards. Not sure yet.
Found a neat website with pictures of babies at different stages of development. According to them he looks something like this right about now:
.....and they gave this information about his development at this point:
Baby's lungs and immune system are maturing this week as baby prepares for his grand entrance. If he were born today he would have an 85 percent chance of surviving as his lungs are capable of breathing air (with medical assistance, of course).
Other exciting developments:Baby's done a lot of growing over the past few months. His length has more than doubled in the past 15 weeks! And that's not the only thing growing—baby's brain tissue and neurons are all developing at a rapid pace. His brain waves are now firing away just like those of a newborn baby. If baby is a he, his testes will have completely descended at this point.
Your baby now weighs in at approximately 14½ inches and just over 2 pounds, or about the size of that roast you made last time your in-laws were in town. OK, the baby is the size of that roast you meant to cook before you decided that ordering Chinese was a much better idea. (uh yeah...that sounds more like me!)
Very VERY strange to think that the baby would now be able to breathe on his own at this point...outside the womb and would have an 85% chance of survival. It just doesn't seem possible to me! Sometimes it seems like I've been pregnant forever...and other times it's as if the time is just flying by. All I know is that he is kicking/punching me like crazy at all hours of the day. Jim and Jenna are enjoying feeling and watching my tummy bounce around!
Contest!!
Good luck to all of us!

I'm back!
Here are some cute pictures from our visit...
The girls relaxing on the bench outside the pizza place as we waited for our table to be ready
Goofing around before breakfast
The girls really had a lot of fun together. We can't wait to see them again next weekend for Madison's 3rd Birthday Party!!
On Saturday morning Jenna had her first soccer practice. She's on a team with her pals Macie and Emma and they were adorable. Jenna did GREAT...she loved it! There are 7 kids on her team, four boys and the three girls. Jenna and the boys played for most of the hour. She was right there with them...stretching, kicking and running after the ball. Macie and Emma weren't as enthusiastic about the sport but I have a feeling they will come around as the weeks roll by. Their first game is next weekend!
Here are some pictures from practice on Saturday. Jenna is the one in pink with the bow in her hair....of course!
Stretching with the boys...
Doing "Cherry Pickers" (that sure brings back elementary school P.E. memories for me!!)
After practice...."GO RED BULLS!" (just Jenna and the boys again)

Also on Saturday, Jim and I celebrated our 5th anniversary. It seems like we are doing a lot of traveling lately so we decided to stay in town, send Jenna to my parents house for the evening, and go to a nice dinner and a movie. It was fun. We saw Hancock and we both really liked it. It was also nice being able to sleep in a bit this morning!! We then went to breakfast with my parents and Jenna and headed to the FAIR for the day. Jenna had a great time eating junk food, looking at the animals and riding the rides.
Here are some pictures from today....
With cousin Alivia and her heffer "Sarah"
Bumming a ride on Daddy's shoulders
The big slide...this was her FAVORITE ride of all...
On the alligator roller coaster. This was BEFORE the ride started so she was still smiling. Lets just say...she was NOT a fan!!
However, flying in the pink elephant was fun...
The ladybug ride was also a favorite...
And guess who we ran into? Jenna's Godfather Dave, Rose and Baby Paul!!
That's it for tonight!
